Whoop, whoop! My birthday shoot was a success and super fun! I told myself that I should do something to celebrate, so why not a shoot? My surprise birthday gifts from my hubby were great too, but we’ll get to that later. So, I wanted my outfits to be sexy and flirty. I knew that I had to shop at House of CB and boohoo to execute my vision, especially since boohoo had an incredible 60% off sale. I ended up finding this beautiful, curve-hugging, goddess-like dress called “Reva” from House of CB. House of CB never disappoints me! Their quality of clothing is unmatched, and I always receive my garments within 2-3 days after I’ve placed the order.
I paired this gorgeous dress with simple silver jewelry. I wanted the dress to be the statement piece. I rocked a sleek and straight hairstyle, and I wore boohoo Clear 2 Part Heel Sandals that were very comfortable. Keep in mind that I had to walk on unstable ground during the shoot for 2.5 hours, and I felt no pain. Those heels were $25.50! I mean, can we say steal?!
My second outfit was all boohoo. I wore the same heels and sported a flirty nude Knee Length Tulle Skirt and a white Premium Lace Bodysuit. A little Gucci would never hurt anyone, so I couldn’t miss the opportunity to wear my gold-rimmed Gucci sunglasses. I loved this outfit. I danced, twirled, and strutted my stuff. I can see myself creating some mommy and me content with a similar outfit for Ava and me.
The last outfit was a white Petite Off the Shoulder Blouse from, you guessed it, boohoo! I loved how it had an attached belt that could be tied like a bow. It snitched my waist and made me feel like the old me. I’m still trying to get this baby weight off, but I’m getting there. I paired this top with cute Fashionova skinny jeans and white strappy heels. I received a layered gold necklace as a gift and thought that it would be a great idea to wear it with this outfit.
