Stella + Ava = Twinsies!

Before I had Ava, I’ve always wanted a daughter, and I pictured how we would both wear matching outfits. Well, my dreams have become a reality! I got my Ava bear and me matching mommy and me outfits from Old Navy. I went to venture out to the nearest Old Navy store and searched for something for me and my love to wear. I wasn’t able to purchase Mommy & Me sets from in store, but they have several on their online store . Due to my limited amount of time before our scheduled shoot, I had to get something in store that matched something that I already had in my closet. I instantly gravitated to the color mustard yellow! I would link the items in the picture, but unfortunately, they do not sell them online. I’ve listed the name of the clothes and the SKU number.

There is a funny story behind the first outfit. So, I saw two very similar outfits. One was for a baby, and the other was an XL kids’ outfit. I purchased the two items, and I prayed that they would fit the models. I slipped the toddler-sized outfit on Ava, and it fit! I, yes me, SQUEEZED into XL kids’ outfit. LOL!!! Thank God that it fit like a glove. My darling Ava is wearing a yellow Printed Jersey Bubble One-Piece for Baby (SKU#: 572656-001-1218). I was wearing a yellow Sleeveless High-Neck Romper for Girls (SKU#: 553998-001-0004). We danced and played in our outfits for quite some time. I love how comfortable and stylish we were.

I found this cute yellow Fit & Flare Crochet-Hem Dress for Toddler Girls (SKU#: 579504-001-1824) and White Full-Length Jersey Leggings for Toddler Girls (SKU#: 773492-031-1824). I’m wearing a top that I got from Agaci years ago and Fashionova High-waisted jeans. Ava’s headband was a gift from a family member, and I’ve managed to find a similar one at Old Navy (Bow-Tie Head Wrap for Women; SKU#: 394548-161-0000). By the way, it took a good 15 minutes to get her to remain still for the shot. I know that I gotta give y’all what you want, so I fought to create this content, LOL!
